The first attempt (Subject #1)

Subject #1 decides he will be the pioneer of our group and wants his shot at going first. This is how we'd get our feet wet with this entire ritual and we were all very eager....it literally began only hours after we first read about it. We decided we'd set each subject up with a "buddy" who would knock once on the bathroom door once 10 minutes had passed and once again when the entire 17 minutes had elapsed. Midnight was drawing close and the ritual was about to begin...

Subject #1 entered the bathroom at 11:58pm and got ready to begin. The candle was lit and he turned out the bathroom light....he began to stand in silence. After 10 minutes a single knock at the door let him know that it was time for bloodletting. He cut his finger open with a knife and smeared it across the eyes of his reflection. Pretty soon the things he was seeing were too much for him to handle and he couldn't stay in the bathroom any longer. He sat in silence for over a minute before he began to describe the things he had seen...his eyes and mouth turning black, his reflection moving when he was completely still and other things. He lasted 15 minutes but is eager to have another try.
